1970 Fonseca Guimaraens Vintage Port

Founded in 1822 by Manuel Pedro Guimaraens, Fonseca is now owned by Fladgate but remains under the direction of his descendant, David Guimaraens. Renowned critic Robert Parker describes Fonseca as the most flamboyant and exotic of Vintage Ports, maturing slightly faster than its peers. With 150 acres of traditional grapes like Touriga Nacional and Tinta Roriz, Fonseca produces 8,000–14,000 cases of Vintage Port annually, along with Tawny, white, and non-vintage Ports.
