"The 2010 Proprietary Red bursts from the glass with dark red cherries, plums, menthol, licorice, tobacco and incense. Rich, layered and explosive, the 2010 boasts gorgeous depth and poise. Sweet grilled herbs, tobacco and new leather flow through to the intense, textured finish. Ideally, the 2010 is best left alone for another few years. The super-ripe, racy finish is a bit uncharacteristic for the year, but it is nicely balanced by the 2010 tannins. This is another terrific showing from Pahlmeyer." 94/100 - Vinous
