"This Cabernet Sauvignon is sourced from three blocks of vines and two distinct clones (4 & 337) cultivated in Vine Hill Ranch, situated in the western benchlands near Oakville in Napa Valley. Cakebread has been acquiring these grapes since 1981, yielding consistently exceptional and enduring wines. The grapes are hand-harvested at night to preserve their freshness and varietal purity. Each of the three lots undergoes separate fermentation and barrel aging.
