2016 Domaine Tempier Bandol

Domaine Tempier, one of Provence’s crown jewels, produces world-class red, white, and rosé wines from its organic Bandol estate. Founded in 1834, it was passed down to Lucie Tempier and Lucien Peyraud in 1936. Inspired by a pre-phylloxera bottle of Domaine Tempier, Lucien researched Bandol’s terroir and discovered the benefits of Mourvèdre, which led to its preservation and the establishment of Bandol as an A.O.C. in 1941. Today, Domaine Tempier is renowned for its refined, long-aging wines.
