1991 Diamond Creek Volcanic Hill Microclimate 4 Cabernet Sauvignon

Established in 1968, Diamond Creek was California's first estate dedicated solely to Cabernet Sauvignon. The Volcanic Hill vineyard spans 8 acres on a south-facing hillside, known for producing wines with exceptional aging potential. The harvest process can extend over a month, with 15 to 20 different pickings. The winery monitors the wines' barrel aging, and if a particular batch from a single picking stands out, it may be bottled separately as a microclimate wine.
