1996 Penfolds Bin 707 Cabernet Sauvignon

"Very firm with tannins, this is a chewy wine that struggles to get its savory plum and herb flavors past the layer of gritty texture. Needs much more time to soften the tannins, but this fades a bit on the finish.--Australian reds blind retrospective." - Wine Spectator
