2001 Domaine Colin-Deleger Les Demoiselles

Michel Colin, nephew of Georges Deléger, inherited a portion of the Chevenottes vineyard and merged it with family holdings to form the Domaine Colin-Deleger we know today. He formally retired after the 2015 vintage, leaving his sons Philippe and Bruno to continue the estate. Even in semi-retirement from 2003-2015, Michel farmed tiny parcels consisting of Chassagne 1er Cru En Remilly, Puligny 1er Cru Les Demoiselles, and Chevalier-Montrachet Grand Cru, producing minuscule quantities of exceptional Chardonnay from neighboring premier and grand cru sites, treasured by those lucky enough to own them.
