2020 Domaine Heitz-Lochardet - Armand Heitz Les Boucherottes

Armand Heitz, an oenologist and advocate of agroecology, manages 20 hectares across the Côte de Beaune and 6 hectares in Juliénas. His work focuses on soil sustainability and low-intervention winemaking. The Boucherottes cuvée, from clay-limestone soils, is 100% Pinot Noir, offering red berry aromas, subtle oak, balanced tannins, and aging potential. The estate operates under two labels: Heitz-Lochardet (estate-grown wines) and Armand Heitz (estate and purchased grapes), with a broader mission rooted in authenticity, agriculture, and terroir expression.
