1989 Chateau Gombaude-Guillot

Château Gombaude Guillot produced a limited “Cuvée Spéciale” beginning with the 1985 vintage. The wine was made from the same base as the Grand Vin, but differed in its élevage, as it was matured in up to 100% new French oak barrels—unlike the standard bottling. The final vintage of the Cuvée Spéciale was 1989.
