1976 Chateau Caillou

Although Château Caillou has a long-standing presence in the Sauternes appellation, its modern history began in 1909 when the Ballan family acquired the estate from the Sarraute family. The property remains under Ballan family ownership today and is currently managed by Marie José Pierre, a direct descendant of the Ballan lineage.
