At the cork's pull, it offers delicate red currant fruit, tobacco, and charcuterie, with spearmint and red liquorice emerging with aeration. On the palate, bay leaf and bay laurel notes underscore the crunchy red currant fruit, while the seamless tannins still provide grip and intensity. The finish is long, revealing loamy earth, tar, and cherry liqueur notes. This wine will continue to evolve and, by all indications, has another 10+ years of life ahead.
