2016 Domaine Baron Thenard Montrachet Grand Cru

There was little to harvest in Mercurey or Montrachet. Givry had no frost and enjoyed a very good, even great, harvest, as did Corton. Pernand saw much less, with Grands-Echézeaux and Montrachet yielding only 8 hl/ha. In Chassagne, vines were weakened by frost and later affected by mildew. Despite this, the grapes reached good maturity, and remarkably, the grand crus show nearly the same analysis every year.
