1989 Chateau Beychevelle

"The wine is an opaque ruby-red color. The nose is closed & cedary with hints of black-fruit. The palate has a lovely, rich, ripe, pure redcurrant fruit, overlaid by cedary spices. Acidity is fresh, the fruit has leafy touches. The mid-weight tannic structure has a crunchy nature. Alcohol is balanced & the finish is drying & quite oaky." DCAMW
