1998 V. Sattui Winery Vintage Port

V. Sattui, founded in the late 1800s by Italian immigrant Vittorio Sattui, was originally based in San Francisco using Napa grapes. Closed during Prohibition, it was revived by Dario Sattui in Napa Valley and has since become one of the region’s leading wineries. The 1998 Vintage Port is a limited release of 978 cases, produced in traditional style from Tinta Cão, Souzão, Touriga Nacional, and Zinfandel. It shows aromas of caramel and black cherry, with flavors of blackberry, cherry, espresso, chocolate, and caramel, balanced by bright acidity.
