1998 Wirra Wirra The Angelus Cabernet Sauvignon

Wirra Wirra’s flagship Cabernet Sauvignon, The Angelus, is named after the Jesuit church bell rung to mark the start and end of harvest. Sourced from Adelaide (63%) and Coonawarra (27%), it was aged 20 months in French oak. The 1998 vintage is highly acclaimed, showcasing deep crimson color and refined aromas of violets, blackcurrant, cedar, and spice. The palate is rich and persistent with notes of chocolate and blackcurrant, supported by fine tannins and excellent balance. This wine offers great aging potential.
