2008 Roy Estate Cabernet Sauvignon

"The 2008 Cabernet Sauvignon is very expressive with notes of perfume, floral, spice, mineral and blackberry that are layered beautifully together. The dry and cold spring induced small yields with small berry size and light clusters which created some amazingly concentrated wines. The very mild summer helped develop complex aromatics as well. The nose reveals intense yet refined flavors of polished flowers (violet and rose petals), cranberry and black licorice. This beautiful complex and aromatic mix is complimented by a seductive mouthfeel with loads of black fruits, fresh stones and spices seamlessly integrated with layers of expressive, refined tannins and a long, lingering finish." - Winemaker Notes
